Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 18, 2026 | Last Updated: September 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how IDOAI (HK) LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Smart Cleaner Android mobile application (the "App"). It also explains the choices and rights available to you.
Important Notice: Smart Cleaner is designed as an on-device cleaning utility. Files, photos, scan results, duplicate or similar-photo groups, cache information, and other cleanup candidates are generally analyzed and processed locally on your device. We do not upload your personal files or photos to our servers for cleaning. The App deletes an item only after you select or confirm a deletion action. Advertising and analytics providers may separately process limited device, usage, advertising, and diagnostic data as described below.
1. Information We Collect and Use
We process information only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the App, display advertising, respond to support requests, and comply with applicable law.
1.1 Files and Photos (On-Device Processing)
- Files and storage items: The App may scan file names, file types, paths, sizes, modification dates, and related metadata to identify large files, temporary files, residual files, cache, downloads, and other cleanup candidates.
- Photos and media: The App may analyze images and related metadata to identify duplicate, similar, blurred, or otherwise reviewable photos. This analysis is generally performed locally on your device.
- Cleanup selections: The App processes the items you select for review or deletion so it can perform your requested action. We do not independently decide to remove your personal files or photos.
- No server copy for cleaning: We do not receive or retain copies of your personal files or photos on our servers merely because the App scans or cleans them.
1.2 System Permissions
The App may request Android permissions necessary for its cleaning features. Available permission names and scope may vary by Android version and device manufacturer.
- Photos and videos: Used to display, compare, organize, and delete photos or other media that you choose to manage.
- Files and storage: Used to scan accessible storage, show cleanup candidates, calculate storage usage, and delete files that you select. On Android versions where broad file access is offered, the App requests it only when needed for file-management functions.
- Network access: Used to load Google AdMob advertising, transmit limited Firebase Analytics events, receive service configuration, and communicate with support services.
You may change permissions in Android Settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
1.3 Analytics and Technical Data
Firebase Analytics may process app events and technical information such as device model, Android version, app version, language, general region, session duration, screen views, feature interactions, network status, advertising identifiers where permitted, and diagnostic or performance information. We use this information to understand feature usage, diagnose problems, and improve the App.
1.4 Advertising Data
Google AdMob displays advertising in the App. Depending on your device settings, consent choices, region, and Google's policies, AdMob may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, general location, ad interactions, and fraud-prevention signals to deliver, limit, personalize, or measure advertisements. You can manage available advertising and privacy controls through your device settings and Google's controls.
1.5 Support Communications
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any diagnostic details or attachments you include. We use it to respond to your request and maintain support records.
2. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The App uses the following third-party services. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

- Non-discrimination: We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information under our control. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device, reviewing cleanup selections, and maintaining backups of important files and photos.
8. File Deletion and Recovery Notice
Cleanup actions can remove files or photos. Depending on Android, your gallery app, storage provider, and device configuration, deleted content may be moved to a trash folder or may be removed permanently. We cannot guarantee that deleted, overwritten, corrupted, or inaccessible content can be recovered. Review every selection and maintain independent backups before deletion.
